Epistilbite (Type Locality) Geological Museum, Copenhagen

Item Description

Epistilbite is an uncommon zeolite group species and this showy and excellent miniature is from the famous Type Locality in Iceland. The vug in basalt matrix is lined with pearlescent, transparent to translucent blades. Rich and well-formed specimens, such as this, are just not that common from here.
