A colorful and striking large polished slab of erzbergite from this famous locale. Erzbergite consists of alternating thin layers of aragonite and calcite, with the color variations due to finely dispersed limonite. It is sometimes used as a decorative stone and specimens such as this are seldom on the market. This locality is world-famous for superb, dramatic and sculptural flos ferri (cave aragonite) specimens.
