Item Description
Excellent and very large (3.4 cm) single crystal of Ettringite from the new find in the Kalahari manganese fields of South Africa. This beautiful single, contacted at the bottom, naturally, has the classic lemon-yellow color so highly desired, as well as a gemminess that winds its way throughout the crystal. The luster is pearly, the faces have a sublte striation to them, and the termination is excellent. Such a well-defined, large Ettringite is rare.
