Item Description

A VERY RARE and impressive large two-sided combination from the famous mines at Pasto Bueno. The front of the sculptural piece is dramatically and richly covered with clusters of gemmy and glassy light mint-green fluorite cuboctahedrons accented with pretty hints of purple. The densely stepped-growth crystals have some glass-clear faces, adding pizzazz. The striking solid matrix is sparkly, pearlescent pastel-pink muscovite plates. The MAJOR surprise is on the back! Euclase is VERY RARE from Pasto Bueno. Glassy, gemmy, pale yellow terminated prisms are richly scattered here and are highlighted by the superb, sharp 1.2 cm doubly terminated prism. Rare, perhaps UNIQUE large combination material from Pasto Bueno from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Value?? We feel $1500-1750 is fair, due to the unique combination quality, size and richness. Art Soregaroli literally wrote the book on collectible minerals of Peru. this is from his private collection! with label!
