Ferberite with Muscovite and Fluorite

The famous Yaogangxian Mine has produced world-class ferberite specimens and this is a very fine combination example. Splendent, strikingly striated, flattened prisms are nicely accented on the front with a cluster of lustrous and translucent "books" of light brown muscovite crystals. The terminations are pristine. The back of the piece is nearly covered with muscovite and is beautifully accented with glassy, color-zoned fluorite cubes at the base. This outstanding ferberite is complete all-around and pristine. The frontal display view is dramatic with riveting, metallic luster. Valued at $750-900. This quality and style is hard to come by now.
