Item Description

Well-formed, sharp ferro-actinolite crystals are rare from the Shigar Valley. Ferro-actinolite is a rare member of the tremolite-actinolite series Group. This lustrous, jet-black, pristine, monolithic two-sided blade has striking multiple terminations with sharp tapered edges. Glassy cleavelandite crystals on the termination, side and at the base are super accents. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $325 over seven years ago and are seldom on the market today. Ferro-actinolite is not listed for this locality on MINDAT.
