Item Description

A rare small cabinet specimen in which the iron-rich matrix has an abundance of SUPERB, sparkly and gemmy, dark wine-red Ferrian Variscite crystals. Variscite rarely crystallizes, and all these mm-size crystals look like tiny pieces of lustrous and gemmy cherry jello. From the Iron Monarch Mine in South Australia, theses crystal are rare and attractive, and extremely hard to come by. Although it is not 100% pristine , there are also dozens of pristine crystals on the display face and it is overall a rich specimen of old material.
