Item Description

A very fine, showy and classic, floater azurite specimen of two, intergrown rosettes from this well-known Chinese locale. The highly lustrous azurite blades have fine royal-blue color with desirable electric-blue highlights. The swirl patterns of the stout blades are extremely sculptural. It looks great from either side. This larger, two sided, flattened azurite is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of edgewear. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 1582
