Item Description
These Bullet-shaped cerussite crystals are an uncommon and an desirable cerussite varietal from Mibladen. This striking, conical crystal is a doubly terminated cyclic-twin. It is very gemmy, has supreme adamantine luster, color ranges from amber to smoky and the stepped-growth faces are surreal. The photos can"t catch all the complexity of the faces on this stunning 360-degree specimen. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a couple of points of inconsequential contacting lower down, it is basically a floater. The flares and crystal form at the base are also very noteworthy. Cerussite specimens of this exotic shape and quality came out in small numbers in the 1970s and 80s. Valued at $750-1000. ex George Elling collection
