Item Description
Fluckite is a very rare hydrated phosphate discovered in 1980 and this mine in the historic Ste Marie-aux-Mines District is the Type Locality. Clusters of acicular, pastel-pink fluckite and crusts of fluckite attractively cover the crest of the matrix on this rich and excellent example from the collection of well-known French collector Dr. Eric Asselborn.
