Golconda purple fluorapatites are a Brazilian classic. This adorable thumbnail features a 1.3 cm, gemmy, doubly terminated crystal exquisitely perched atop feldspar matrix with a muscovite plate and smaller fluorapatites. The crystal has one small spot of side wear near a termination, that is barely noticeable. Choice and excellent material from this famous locale. Modest yellow fluorescence.
