Item Description
Here is something that, as far as we are concerned, is unique in our experience: A Paraiba blue APATITE, as opposed to a Paraiba tourmaline (where the strong and radiant color is due to slight copper content). This matrix specimen hosts a 2.6 x 2.5 x 1.7 cm lustrous, transparent and translucent Paraiba-blue apatite embedded in matrix. At first glance, you would see the color and assume this was the famous cuprian tourmaline variety known from this location and from a few others in the world. It is a full, large thumbnail specimen.
