Fluorapatite on Albite (both fluorescent)

Sharp, very glassy, hexagonal, fluorapatite crystals are aesthetically clustered atop the albite matrix on this very fine and sculptural combination from the noted large 2007 find at this famous locale. The tabular, 2-toned green prisms, to 1.4 cm, have gemmy light green outer edges surrounding the darker green cores. Mustard-yellow fluoresence, richer on the outer edges and pink fluorescence on the albite. Pristine. One face of one crystal edge is contacted, but has no damage, per se. Valued at $1750-2000. Excellent combination material for the find and locale. A classic.
