Fluorapatite with Quartz

A rare pink apatite specimen from Switzerland! For that matter, any apatite of any quality from Switzerland is rare....but a pink crystal, and so sharply positioned on matrix, is literally something I would never expect to see. The main crystal is 1.4 cm tall and pristine. This fine small cabinet piece is from the prized Swiss collection of Brent Lockhart, built over decades with help sourcing from major dealers in the USA and Europe. We purchased it in 2020, and now release some for sale here. Sourced from Siber & Siber to Brent in 2018, for $550 at the time - which sure seems low for how rare such an item must be. The provenance of Siber to Brent is attested to on his label, included. A custom lucite base ($200 or so value) is also included. Note the fluorescence which gives a crisp, sharp form and shape to the apatite!
