Item Description

A showy small cabinet sized specimen from this lesser-known Moroccan locale featuring a coverage of fine quality, sharp, well-formed, gemmy/translucent cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 3.6 cm on edge, sitting on minor Quartz matrix. The crystals show a bit of color gradation with a darker purple hue on the edges that grades into a lighter nearly colorless tone closer to the centers of the cubes. The crystals are largely in fine condition, with no major damage, save the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. Certainly one of the better pieces from this locality that we've had to offer in the auctions.
