Fluorite

Item Description

A good sized display specimen of Fluorite from the Musquiz area in Mexico. The cubic crystals, which measure up to 4.2 cm on edge, are essentially colorless internally, but have a rich purple hue on the exterior. There are hundres of small stepped faces on the crystals, and the piece is gemmy when backlit. Good luster, and minimal damage make this is a worthwhile Fluorite to add to a suite of specimens, or a Mexican mineral colleciton.
