Fluorite (2006 find)

Item Description

A fine CABINET fluorite specimen from uncommon 2006 finds in Henan Province, China. Intergrown, sharp fluorite cubes in strange, intergrown knobs on a matrix of solid fluorite comprise this unusual piece. The translucent fluorites are brown to honey-yellow, when front-lit, but glow a gorgeous, golden-amber when back-lit. The backlit photo is unretouched. There were not many of these. A spectacular specimen.
