China keeps producing great quailty, crystallized display specimens and has provided collectors with more fine quality minerals than virtually any other country in recent memory. This piece hosts very attractive crystals of gemmy "phantom" Fluorite cubes with good luster and sharp faces. The largest Fluorite measures 2.7 cm on edge. The color is a beautiful blue hue in indoor compact fluorescent lighting. The "tops" of the Fluorite cubes appear to be frosted, but they're actually lustrous, so the white color is caued by a sub-surface inclusion. Difficult to photograph, and better in person.
