Item Description

A pretty combination piece of Fluorite, Mica, and Orthoclase from the famous Erongo Mountains. The Fluorites are entirely purple, which is very unusual for this region. On top the that, they are zoned in different ways, some along the edges and some in the cores and faces. They are internally gemmy, and the slightly frosted faces give them a soft, rich appearance. The largest Fluorite is 1 cm on edge. The Mica books are about 2-4 mm across, and populate the entire top of the Orthoclase matrix, under and around the Fluorites. A very aesthetic, and unusual, combination specimen from the Erongos.
