Item Description

England has produced some of the mos well known and classic Fluorite specimens in the world. They are very well-known for their form, color and amazing crystal quality. This piece features several relatively large (measuring up to 4.2 cm on edge), semi-lustrous, sharp, well formed, translucent cubic crystals of Fluorite with a soft silvery-purple color and slight pinkish color cores associated with minor "rosettes" of brown Siderite. This piece is in very good condition as the largest crystal is undamaged, though a few smaller ones have minor nicks. The piece also exhibits classic penetration twinning that is commonly associated with Fluorites from the area. A great display specimen from this world famous Fluorite district. Valued at $900.
