A classic display specimen of the famous Berbes Fluorites featuring fine quality, sharp and lustrous cubes with lovely dodecahedral modifications on the edges growing on a thin piece of matrix. The piece is crystallized on all sides and the largest Fluorite measures 1.5 cm on edge. When the crystals are backlit indoors they show purple and lilac hues, but like many Fluorites, they are actually a beautiful blue color in sunlight. Some of the larger purple crystals are rather gemmy, while the smaller crystals are nearly colorless and more translucnet. The front side of the piece is in great shape overall and it has such wonderful form. Top Fluorite specimens from Berbes certainly rank with the finest quality Fluorites in the world.
