Item Description

Some of the most classic Fluorites for all of the U.S. came from the historic Sunnyside mine in southwestern Colorado. This mine is renown for it's superb pink Rhodochrosite specimens which are sometimes associated with green Fluorite. Typically the fluorites from the Sunnyside mine are octahedral in habit, but this piece exhibits interesting intergrown cubes. The crystals are a light green shade and are virtually water clear inside! A worthwhile and attractive gemmy display specimen of this highly sought after material.
