Item Description

This is a classic specimen of attractive, sharp, gemmy, lustrous green cubic crystals of Fluorite free of matrix from the Erika Mine. A classic, showy and richly colored piece from this well-known extinct mine. The crystals have formed in a somewhat layered / stacked formation, and really look beautiful up close. The green hue of the crystals is accented by small reddish and smoky hues to create a very eye-catching overall specimen. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1081). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
