Fluorite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

A sharp, soliary, gemmy, well-formed, medium green color octahedredron of Fluorite measuring 2.8 cm sits on a small amount of matrix with associated Muscovite. There is a contact on one edge of the crystal, but it's still complete all the way around, and it sitting so aesthetically on the underlying matrix. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12351). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
