Item Description
An attractive small cabinet specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, dark purple color cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 2.7 cm with a light coverage of little sparkling gemmy Calcite crystals and minor reddish-brown Sphalerite on the back. If you backlight the crystals, you can see that some of them show excellent internal "phantoms" with a dark purple core, and a lighter purple hue on the exterior edges. Minor roughness in areas, but overall the piece is in good shape. It's crystallized on the front and back as well. This area is well-known for its Fluorite specimens, though they are few and far between on the market now that everything is closed down. From the collection of Richard Rossi.
