Item Description

One of the finest large combination specimens we received in a small lot from a New Find at this obscure Chihuahua mine. Fluorite is rare from here. Intergrown, lustrous, translucent, yellowish-green fluorite cubes have satiny luster and are aesthetically accented with clusters of glassy, pearlescent creamy barite blades. The large barite corsage is 2.3 cm. The fluorite stepped-growth faces give a nice 3-dimensional aspect to the cubes, to 1.8 cm, on this excellent and rare cabinet combination. Pristine in the interior. Bright blue-purple fluorescence. Valued at $500 by well-known Mexico specialist and author, Dr. Peter Megaw.
