A wonderful, gemmy, 3.5 cm, grape-purple fluorite cuboctahedron with dense stepped-growth frosted faces is dramatically set on the rolling nubby quartz matrix on this outstanding small cabinet from the famous De'an Mine. The smaller partially exposed fluorite plus the RARE crystallized quartz on one side add real pizzazz to this striking piece. There is undoubtedly another fluorite crystal beneath the prominent knob. The crystal glows when backlit! Modest purple fluorescence. Exceptional older combinatin material with multiple fine display views without aid from the first finds in 2002-2003. Valued at $1500 and worth it.
