A lovely specimen of these attractive Fluorites from the Huanggang Mine. This miniature sized piece features a predominant, 3.7 cm, sharp, GEMMY, colorless octahedral crystal of Fluorite sitting on a few smaller Fluorites, with no actual matrix. This a classic example of the "ice" Fluorite crystals which get their name due to their lack of any color (a sign of chemical purity for Fluorite) and excellent internal gemminess. The piece is incredibly showy and aesthetic and displays wonderfully as you can see from the photos. While the front/display side of the main Fluorite crystal is in very good shape, it is contacted on the back where it was separated from the pocket wall. Priced at $1,500 retail in our inventory.
