Item Description

A cool colorless Fluorite specimen with excellent gemminess and that classic colorless hue that is seen in Dal'negorsk specimens. The lack of color actually means this is chemically pure Fluorite, as colored Fluorites have some kind of impurities / chromaphores that create the color. This piece shows textbook cubic habit with a small stem of Quartz and sulfides jutting out of the corner. The front is in good shape, but it is partially cleave and "rehealed" on the back. fluorite is found in virtually all colors of the rainbow, but colorles material is rare for the species. These famous specimens from Dal'negorsk have been given the nickname "ice cubes" due to their amazing clarity and lack of color.
