Fluorite (interesting ''phantom'' crystals)

Item Description

A lovely little miniature from the famed Okorusu Mine, one of the great modern-day Fluorite specimen producing localities in the world. This locality has yielded a wide range of colors of Fluorite, often featuring multi-colored crystals, sometimes with beautiful internal zoning / "phantoms". This piece features a group of sharp, gemmy cubes measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge, with no matrix. When backlit, the piece features a wonderful combination of strong reddish-purple hues and pale blue-green tones, that combine to create some interesting and unique internal "phantoms". The piece is in very good shape, with no major damage and it looks great in person. From the collection of Jelani Daniel.
