Fluorites come in virtually all colors of the rainbow, and are some of the few gems that occur in multicolor stones. In recent years, we've seen this type of Fluorite from China, but the beautiful old classic gems from Argentina date back to the 1960s and 1970s. The stone is genuine, and comes to us direct from the source from a good friend who imports this material directly in from Argentina. The stone shows alternating color bands of purple, golden-yellow and slight greenish-blue zones throughout. It's a very attractive stone with a standard "Emerald" cut.
