Item Description

Some of the most colorful and highly displayable Fluorite specimens have come from the famous Okorusu Mine. This locality is not only prolific in terms of size and quality of its Fluorites, but it has produced specimens in virtually every color of the rainbow (including black and colorless). This cabinet sized piece is from a discovery about 10 years ago and features a group of razor-sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy, cubic crystals measuring up to 2.3 cm on edge which show classic internal "phantoms" with a mix of green, blue and purple hues inside. One of the larger crystals shows an interesting secondary solution overgrowth, rarely seen in this material. Most of the crystals are in fine condition, but there are a few minor imperfections here and there. It's crystallized all around, and displays wonderfully as you can see from the photos. Valued at $3,500 in the inventory.
