Item Description

Some of the most colorful and highly displayable Fluorite specimens in the world have come from the famous Okorusu Mine. This locality is not only prolific in terms of the size and quality of its Fluorites, but it has produced specimens in virtually every color of the rainbow (including black and colorless). This small cabinet sized piece is from a discovery about 10 years ago and features a group of razor-sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy, cubic crystals measuring up to 1.6 cm on edge which show classic internal "phantoms" with a mix of blue, purple and green hues inside. Associated white, prismatic Quartz crystals are scattered all over the piece as well for a great touch. Most of the crystals are in fine condition, but there is one contact on the top right portion of the piece that isn't quite visible when the piece is displayed. Valued at $1,250 in the inventory.
