Item Description

Beautiful, classic, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, multi-color "phantom" cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 2.4 cm are associated with a few bladed whitish colored Calcite sitting on a bit of matrix. Great quality, and this particular color combination of Fluorite is rarely seen from this classic old mine in Bavaria. The main hues exhibited are green, purple, red / reddish and golden-yellow. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2165). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
