Item Description

Gorgeous, sea-green, fluorite octahedrons richly cover the granodiorite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from a very famous and ancient Spanish silver-lead-zinc-iron mine. These came out in the 1980s. The sharp octos reach 1.2 cm and are gemmy and lustrous. Excellent, highly representative material from this locale, even with a bit of bruising and periphery wear. Super purple fluorescence. Ex Bob Borofsky Collection, owner of the William Wise Fluorite Mine in New Hampshire. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
