Item Description

A striking and excellent CABINET fluorite specimen from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. Gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons to 6.5 cm (large for the find) are beautifully clustered together. Very unusally, some of the octo faces are preferentially frosted, while others are totally gemmy. You can see the gemmy, unfrosted terminations on the photos. This dramatic specimen displays beautifully on two sides. Periphery wear on the back/base is out of sight and a bit of other noted periphery wear is certainly a very modest detraction to this fine piece. Valued at $750-950. These are contemporary classics. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice!
