Fluorite octahedrons on Fluorite

Item Description

Very pretty, intergrown, translucent, bottle-green, fluorite octahedrons are aestheticaly strewn on the purple fluorite matrix on this very showy and excellent LARGE CABINET specimen from recent finds at the famous Xianghualing Mine of China. The octos have moderately lustrous, lightly frosted faces. The striking large crystal is 6.5 cm across, large for the find. In great shape, overall, a bit of edgewear is noted, but is certainly nothing to detraction. Combination fluorites of this varietal were never common and this is a good one. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
