Item Description

An exceptional, sculptural large fluorite from the late 1990s - early 2000s finds at the old Homestake Mine. Striking, sharp, translucent, lustrous, pretty mint-green octahedrons have dense minute stepped-growth faces. They look etched, but aren't. The octahedrons reach 3.3 cm (doubly terminated) and are very aesthetically scattered on the contrasting drusy quartz matrix. Bright purple fluorescence! These are easily Arizona's finest fluorites and this a superb large example with isolated crystals. Valued at $2000-2500 and worth it . RARE on the market in this size and quality. A MUST for the species or Arizona collector!
