Item Description

An EXCEPTIONAL specimen from this classic locale: Limpid, penetration twinned crystals of glassy and gemmy, emerald-green fluorite with the best color, here reach to 2 cm across. They are aesthetically emplaced on matrix. Even under normal lighting it is easy to discern the brilliant royal purple fluorescence. The specimen is in great shape save for contact around the peripheral edges of the piece. A great classic! Valued $3000-4000 for quality and gemminess of the crystals, which is from the upper range of quality here. The photos do not show the fluorescent color accurately - it is hard to capture...and better in person. For that matter, the core display crystals here ARE as good as they appear, and are way beyond the normal quality. This piece wsa formerly in the collection of Steve Sinotte and his wife, the glass artist, Rebecca Stewart.
