Fluorite on Quartz

A really unusual large specimen from a seldom-seen fluorite find, this is a HUGE piece - the biggest I have personally seen of good quality. It was found perhaps 7-8 years ago. The fluorite are frosted, lustrous and translucent, lime-colored octahedrons, to 4 cm along an edge. The contrast to quartz matrix is nice, and the piece overall has good aesthetics despite its large size, with no damage to the core crystals at all. It weighs 5.1 pounds! The crystals fluoresce a medium purple color under UV light, as a bonus.
