Item Description

Beautiful, gemmy, sky-blue fluorite cubes are nicely clustered on both sides of the sculptural, lustrous, partially translucent, small cabinet rubyjack sphalerite matrix on this showy and classic combination from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. The cubes, to 1.6 cm, have satin to matte luster stepped-growth faces with some of the cubes having striking color-zoned purple cores. Purple LW UV fluorite fluoresence. Ex Chad Dalrymple collection of Ardmore, Oklahoma who passed away in 1995. We recently obtained a portion of his collection. Chad acquired this classic and excellent two-sided combination specimen from well-known Indiana collector and dealer, Harris Precht in May, 1995. See the 2022 Mineralogical Record article on Harris in Vol. 53, No. 3.
