Item Description

A very rarely seen specimen of crystallized Fluorite from the Majuba Hill Mine. Small crystals of pale lavender Fluorie measuring up to 5 mm are associated with what I believe is simply Azurite and Malachite, but that association is exceedingly rare in nature when combined with Fluorite. I don't know if I can honestly remember seeing Fluorite with Azurite and Malachite from any other locality in the world. If you collect minerals of Nevada, worlwide Fluorites or just mineral oddities, don't miss out on this one. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12416), with a note on the label that states it's from the Jack Parman collection. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
