Fluorite (rich color - ''phantom'' crystals)

Item Description

A classic example of these attractive Fluorites featuring a predominant cubic crystal measuring 4.1 cm on edge showing beautiful richly colored "phantom" zones with a strong golden "core" that transitions into glowing blue color on the exterior. A second smaller cube is flaring off the side for a nice touch. Under halogen lighting, there is a slight fuchsia hue in between the golden and blue zones, but it virtually disappears under incandescent lighting. Please note that one of the corners is completely broken, so the piece is not pristine, but the strength of color is about as good as I've seen from the locality. This particular color combo is in my mind the most desirable from Valzergues.
