Fluorite with Barite

Item Description

This mine has recently produced some beautiful Fluorite specimens with very eye-catching crystals. This specimen features many attractive pale silvery lilac cubes which are essentially WATER CLEAR and very lustrous. The crystals are not easy to photograph and simply look better in person, so don't let the photos fool you, they're really fun to view up close. The largest cube measures 6 mm on edge. Lastly, the Fluorites are sitting on a bed of pale bluish-white bladed Barites to create a very soft and elegant overall appearance. If you collect Fluorites, don't miss out on this one, as it's just different enough from most other Spanish Fluorites that it's worth picking up. Nearly ever crystal is undamaged, though I did find one cleavage while looking the piece over. Enjoy.
