Fluorite with Baryte & Chalcopyrite

Sculptural 360-degree small cabinet fluorite with baryte combination from the famous Minerva No.1 Mine. Gemmy, pretty powder-blue and purple intergrown fluorite cubes with satin luster faces aesthetically cascade down the vertical specimen and partially enclose a section of a much larger, etched amber fluorite cube, that is dramatically and richly peppered with tiny rare chalcopyrite crystals. I particularly like the presentation of the larger blue fluorite cubes, to 1.5, at the crown of the piece and the well-placed cluster of contrasting baryte balls. In excellent shape overall. The few bruised edges and corners to the large cubes at the top are certainly only a modest detraction. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Ex Chad Dalrymple collection of Ardmore, Oklahoma who passed away in 1995. We recently obtained a portion of his collection. Chad acquired this very showy fluorite combination specimen from well-known Indiana collector and dealer, Harris Precht in May, 1995.
