Item Description

As is the case with many Chinese localities, the famous Yaogangxian Mine has given collectors superb quality Fluorite specimens. This piece came out about almost 20 years ago (early 2000s), and is a wonderful example of the material. This beautiful display specimen hosts a few sharp, well-formed, lustrous, gemmy, purple colored cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.4 cm on edge which are associated with compressed "poker chip" habit white crystals of Calcite sitting on a GEMMY, colorless, prismatic Quartz crystal. Overall, there is very little damage and it's remarkably showy as you can see. These specimens are certainly now considered classic material, so if you collect Chinese minerals or worldwide Fluorites, don't miss out on this attractive colorful display piece.
