Fluorite with Galena

Item Description

Rich emerald green, sharp, gemmy Fluorite cubes with numerous interpenetration twins of the fairly recent discoveries from the Diana Maria Mine that began in 2017. The glassy lustrous Fluorites up to 2 cm, blanket the matrix forming a nice three dimensional relief that gives the piece depth. The cubes themselves exhibit the familiar micrometer growth hillocks or vicinal faces giving the cubes a little added pizzazz. There are also a few accenting steel grey Galena crystals within the center vug and on the top right side. The Fluorites are in good condition with only a few nicks and bruises here and there. These Fluorites are characterized by their change in color response based on light source, sunlight and their superb UV fluorescence. A fine example of the Fluorites from the area with the added benefit of a couple next level gemmy "jello" cubes on the display face. Ex. Paul Zerfass Collection #103.
