Item Description

An uncommon and showy combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. A rare and small cluster of super-iridescent sphalerite crystals are attached to the side of three, intergrown fluorite cubes. The translucent, highly lustrous, cubes have super purple color, scintillating, stepped-growth faces and beautiful, darker purple, color-zoned edges. This is classic, color, form and habit from Elmwood. A highly representative and uncommon combo specimen of the species and famous locale, which is minimally impacted by the one cleaved corner and the periphery wear. Get a nice one, while you can, from our small stash. These were found in one pocket, long ago.
