Fluorite with multiple colors

Item Description

Fascinating specimen festooned with interconnected well formed, transparent to translucent, multi-colored Fluorite cubes with multiple colors! The colors of the Fluorites are distributed by area with the center of the display face being a very light blue to blue-gray to clear color appearing to show the underneath matrix. The edge Fluorites display a halo effect of a sky blue color surrounding the piece with a slight tinge of green-yellow color depending on the angle. The largest cube measures 1.5 cm on edge. The cubes are in great condition with only a few trivial nicks and bruising. From the collection of the long time, beloved, well-known French field collector, Paul Zerfass (#54). Zerfass built this worldwide collection over nearly 50 years, many of which (like this) were personally collected. A truly interesting Fluorite with an uncommon display aesthetic.
