Fluorite is certainly a colorful and diverse species. It's quite popular among collectors for the wide variety of styles and localities in which it is found. The species can also be found in big, showy display pieces with a great number of beautiful crystal habits. These beautiful specimens from Riemvasmaak started coming out in the early 2000s, and they have a quite unique green color that is distinctive from Fluorites from other localities, and sharp octahedral form. For all you collectors who missed out on these Fluorites, this is a great chance to pick up a fine display specimen. This piece features a predominant excellent, rich green color, gemmy octahedral crystal, with a few smaller crystals sitting on slightly grey colored Quartz crystals with minor iron oxide on the surface. The largest Fluorite measures 1.7 cm across at its longest dimension. No damage to the main Fluorite crystals, and the piece is very showy.
